Earth Day 2011

Today is Earth Day.  I believe every day should be Earth's Day. We must love and nourish Mother Nature, for Mother Nature gives us life.

As hard as it is to look at this image, I think the picture above is a powerful image taken on the very first Earth Day in 1970.  With all that has happened within the last year (oil spill in the Gulf Coast and nuclear catastrophe in Japan) this picture is a reminder of all the bad that we, as humans, are causing our beautiful planet.  I truly believe we are destroying Mother Nature, our life source and true genius of all things that exist).
