Our Night in Hollywood
Last night my special man and I went out on the town in Hollywood. Our night started out at Katsuya and ended at La Puobelle Bistro. Katsuya was delicious and the atmosphere was very Hollywood. The bathrooms, very cool inside! Very cool! And everytime a patron was seated, including us, the hostess would shout out the phrase "Warmest Greetings" in Japanese to which the chefs making sushi would respond something else in Japanese. It was so neat! I was so excited to see paparazzi sitting outside the restaurant on our way out to catch a cab! Instantly, I wanted to run back in the restaurant to see who might be dining inside! After dinner at Katsuya, we headed over to a small theater on Hollywood Blvd., right next to the Hollywood Wax Museum, to see a live play written, directed and produced by a high school friend of ours. It was so neat to see a live performance. I always love live theater and music. My attention was captured for 2 hours and the play was really great! After the play, we headed over with the cast and close friends of the cast to a tiny French-American Bistro called La Poubelle. It was so quaint and warm inside and truly capped off our night with good company, great ambiance and great conversations. We hope to have another Hollywood night out like this one down the road!
